Presented by Joel Wayne  Lead Pastor of Chapel Pointe in Hudsonville, Michigan where he has served since May of 2014.  He has also served in Kentucky and Greenwich, Connecticut.

His greatest desire is helping to provide biblical inspiration and leadership to organizations.  Joel is married to Melissa Wayne and has four children.

 True Expectations

Developing clear and concise expectations benefits both employee and employer.  Greater confidence is gained by all parties.  

  Identifying Splinters
Splinters get infected if not removed. Recognizing when you have splinters within your organization prevents irritation and frustrate

 Listening Well
When giving your ear to the wrong people, you can become disoriented, confused, and can begin doubting the direction in which you are moving. However, listening to others and then determining the value of the input given is crucial to improvement.  

 Decision Making
How you make decisions reveals characteristics and qualities of the person making the decision. Providing a helpful guide to making healthy decisions can alter the trajectory of your organization.

Partnering with the Hudsonville and Wyoming-Kentwood Chambers this event supports local scholarships and provides a great networking opportunity with over 150 golfers each year.   Friday, June 8  8 am & 1 pm Tee Times Gleneagle Golf Club.

This free event held the first Thursday of December is sponsored by the Chamber’s Premier Partners and offers plenty of networking, food and drinks.      Spouses or guest welcome.

We’re in the Community

An opportunity to provide a “pop-up kiosk” expo booth and market and sell to mall attendees.

Saturday, February 24 2018 10 am – 3 pm

An evening  honoring outstanding individuals who give their time and talents to the community and recognizes  our Ted terHaar and Grandville Community Scholarship Recipients.

 

This event was created to celebrate our  community and  provide another opportunity to connect  our members  to the community at Rosewood Park in Jenison.

 

 

The unofficial kickoff to Grandville’s 4th of July activities celebration includes live music, food and a beer tent. The event also serves as a fundraiser for both the Chamber and local non-profits.

 

Held at Jenison High School, the expo caters to families providing a variety of kids’ activities,  contests and free haircuts for veterans.

NetWORKING

B2B Expo & After Hours in Partnership with Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber  –

Chamber,expo booths, networking, appetizers and cash bar. Thursday, March  8  4 pm – 7 pm

This monthly free event is held at member businesses and is an opportunity to network with your business & community neighbors.  Days and Times will vary.  Calendar will be updated on December 1, 2017.

Allendale, Byron Center, Caledonia,  Coopersville, Cutlerville-Gaines, Grandville-Jenison, Hudsonville, Walker, Wayland, Wyoming-Kentwood

 Business Blind Date –  Register and we will assign you like minded professionals to enjoy a great meal and get to know each other.  (Twice a year)

Free Speed Networking  –  Structured  and fast paced networking event in a series of brief one-on-one information exchanges.  (Twice a year)

Connected Chamber Women  –   The mission of CCW is to create connections between women in  West Michigan Chambers.  (3 times a year)

After Hours at Gun Lake Casino  – Free After Hours at Gun Lake Casino in July of each year.
