We know that one of West Michigan employers’ biggest challenges is finding talent; talent with the necessary credentials, and talent with the foundational employability skills needed to create a dependable workforce.
To address this challenge, West Michigan Works! is working with a group of educators a create a scalable curriculum and assessment to teach the specific employability skills needed in our region. Obviously, employers will provide the most important input into this project.
West Michigan Works! is hosting a series of focus groups so that you can share your experience/frustration regarding employability skills and ensure that the final product meets your needs.
