Amy Grasman

Amy Grasman

State your name, position, and why you are running.

My name is Amy Grasman. I am running for re-election, to the board of trustees. I’ve only been on the board for two years, as I filled a vacancy. I hope to continue making sound decisions and help keep an open line of communication, with my fellow board members, and residents. I want to maintain the values of our township.

What expertise and strengths are you bringing to the board?

My strengths are, that I am a people person, small business owner, community volunteer (I volunteer to coach wheelchair and para-standing tennis players, and I volunteer teaching crafts at GT Connections, our beautiful senior center) I am also a past Unity Christian high school tennis coach, and have been teaching summer tennis camps at GVSU, and also giving private lessons. I am married, have an adult son, pro life, conservative, have a church family, and a member of 100 Women Who Care. I am not a politician, just a concerned local resident of our awesome township, for about 35 years.

Why should residents vote for you?

Residents should vote for me, because I am for common sense decisions. Help maintain our low tax rate. I will put the service of our township and residents, above personal notoriety. I like to say, I serve on the court, but I serve off the court, to help make a difference! I want to continue to invest in our parks, like the new We Go Handicap Swing, and new inclusive merry go round, and new playground equipment. Lets keep our infrastructure in tact, for our kids, and their kids…our future generations. I support our first responders too.

I represent all of our residents, and hope they will vote for me!
