Jon Anderson, running for Sheriff. I am running because I LOVE Ottawa County and will do anything I can to ensure it remains safe, our law enforcement officers are supported, and everyone’s constitutional rights are protected.
What expertise and strengths are you bringing to the board?
32 years of law enforcement experience, including 15 years in leadership positions. I also thrive in leadership positions and have developed a management style that includes building trust through relationships, both with my employees and the community.
Why should residents vote for you?
I have proven, extensive law enforcement and leadership experience. I am endorsed by all three of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Unions, the Police Officer’s Association of Michigan, and many others. I have served in a chief of police role, I have extensive administrative experience, experience in police technology, and experience in both large and small cities and communities.
