Nominated for his involvement and dedication to Georgetown Township Elections.

A longtime Jenison resident, Bruce served his community as a firefighter at Station 1 on the Georgetown Township Fire Department from 1971 to 1990. Since 2006, Bruce began his involvement with Georgetown Township Elections , working as a chairperson for the Absent Voter Counting Board. Wintering in Florida did not stop Bruce from his duties, flying home to head up his team for the 2016 Primary Election.  Bruce and his wife Mary Jo also volunteer their time for the pantry at Love Inc. at Holy Redeemer Parish.

Family: Bruce and his wife Mary Jo have two children Mike and Denise and four granddaughers.

Bruce will be recognized at the Chamber’s Community Awards Reception held on Thursday, April 27 and is open to the public.
