Ella Reed – Future Leader in the Making (8-12) Bursley Elementary , Jenison Public Schools

Nominated by family friend, Cheri Johns , Ella is an amazing kid that works very hard. She is involved in leading others and committed to helping to impact her community. Ella is also a cadet in the girls scouts. Via Girls Scouts she continues to impact her community with volunteer work, learning leadership skills and putting business skills into work via annual girl scout cookie sales.
Ella is involved in the following school activities: swimming (JAWS), band (oboe), orchestra (viola), choir She is a captain of the Safety Squad at her school (Bursley), on Student Council, and one of this year’s organizers for their school recycling program.
In the community: piano lessons for 6 years, Girl Scouts for 7 years, past acolyte at Grandville United Methodist church for 5 years, current Sunday School and Vacation Bible school assistant at Grandville United Methodist church

Ella will be recognized at the Chamber’s Community Awards Reception held on Thursday, April 27 and is open to the public.
