Keeping old traditions and offering new opportunities to build relationships through serving is a great description for the Grandville Jenison Chamber’s 2019 Program of Events. While many of our signature events will return, we are introducing “Building Relationships Through Community Service”, “Just 4 Fun” and bringing back our Young Professionals Group. While the way we do business may have changed and evolved, our mission to “Foster business development and promote business expansion through community connections” remains the same.
2019 Events
Building Relationships Through Community Service (Four Times a Year) *
This new 2019 event is for volunteering as a group at one of our local non-profits over lunch. Come alone or bring members of your team for team building. You might even make a few connections while you’re there.

Stay Informed. Stay Connected. ( Twice a Year)
Twice a year over lunch we will bring in educators, business leaders and elected officials for topics that will be chosen based on a member survey! You get to choose! Friday, March 15 | Friday, October 11
Just 4 Fun (Four After 4 pm Events)
You can only have so much screen time! Get out of the office a bit early, turn your ringer off and enjoy some old fashioned networking before you head home!

Chamber Annual Signature Events *
The Chamber has a variety of annual events that have sponsorship opportunities as well as committee participation to brainstorm and provide “all hands on deck” on the day of the events. Team Building/Lunch & Networking
Throughout the year we will have a handful of events that encourage informal networking and a great avenue to send members of your team as a “fun field trip” or make some new contacts. Tarry Hall Skating Rink is hosting us in April for lunch and skating. Don’t want to skate? No problem…come for the lunch and networking.
Multi Chamber Events
We partner with 9 local chambers for a variety of events designed to expand your network. Connected Chamber Women , Business Blind Date, Speed Networking & Multi Chamber After Hours at Gun Lake
Small Groups
These new groups will be formed around a shared interest or common goal and will be run solely by members of the group. There will be no cost to join these groups and the meeting times and frequency will be determined by members in each group. We currently have an interest for a Young Professionals group. Feel free to contact us if you have a group you would like to lead and form.
Leads Referral Groups – Membership Group
The Chamber has 3 different leads/referral groups that meet on a regular basis to exchange leads and referrals, while building relationships along the way.
